DeRozan, Scola lead Raptors over Magic 105-100
TORONTO (AP) DeMar DeRozan had 25 points, Luis Scola added 20 more and the Toronto Raptors beat the Orlando Magic 105-100 on Sunday.
The Raptors moved just one game back of the Cleveland Cavaliers for the top spot in the Eastern Conference.
Evan Fournier and Victor Oladipo each had 21 points for Orlando, which lost its seventh straight game in Toronto and has now lost 13 of the last 14 meetings with the Raptors.
Having trailed since the 8:22 mark of the second quarter, the Raptors got back in front on a jump shot from Jason Thompson with 5:58 to play. A 3-pointer from Fournier with 1:11 remaining cut the lead to 97-96, but DeRozan responded with a floating jumper with 53.9 left on the clock and added the free throw after being fouled by Ersan Ilyasova to open up a four-point edge.
