Danilo Gallinari: We'll be a run-and-gun team
Denver Nuggets forward Danilo Gallinari looks more than ready to get back on the floor after a dominant performance in EuroBasket 2015 with his home country of Italy.
Gallinari's ability to draw fouls and run the floor should be a welcome sight for a Nuggets team that often struggled to create offense and play at the hectic pace they've been known for in previous years.
Here's more from ESPN.com on what Gallinari envisions the style of play under new head coach Mike Malone looking like:
Italy's style of play figures to be a lot like the Nuggets team Gallinari will be returning to in a few weeks under new coach Mike Malone, whose due diligence has included a trans-Atlantic trip to speak personally to someone who can be expected to figure largely in his plans to pick Denver off the Western Conference floor.
"[Malone and myself] did a lot of talking," Gallinari confirmed. "Same with his senior assistants. I talked to everybody. We'll be a run-and-gun team, that's what we need to do in Denver. Run more than the others. It's going to be tough in the Western Conference, but if we stay healthy, I think we have the chance to do something nice."
