Cleveland Cavaliers: Official NBA 2K Simulation Has Warriors Over Cavs
The Cleveland Cavaliers have the biggest game of the season later today, and the official NBA 2K simulation has them dropping to their arch-rival Golden State.
Last time these two teams met, it ended with the Cleveland Cavaliers’ point guard Kyrie Irving making an iconic three over unanimous MVP Stephen Curry. Along with LeBron James track down block on Andre Iguodala, this past NBA Finals saw NBA history made.
The Warriors, who have a sour taste in their mouth after being the first team in NBA history to give up a 3-1 series lead, have their redemption chance on Sunday. The official NBA 2K simulation agreed with them. We did put this potential win as a Cavaliers wish on their King James Gospel wish list.
If you can’t quite read the blurred tweet below, it has the Warriors beating the Cavaliers by 4, 109-105. It also has James with 29 points on an efficient 12-18 from the field. Irving, in the simulation, was the other top Cavalier with 28 points.

In this simulation, the Warriors were led by the offseason addition of Kevin Durant. He had 34 points on 12-19 shooting and 3-3 from downtown.
Courtesy of @mchavezbooth, we got to see that the official 2K simulation was not very friendly to our Cavaliers, but @BlueManHoop is happy. pic.twitter.com/hBhN6tN78o

This is just NBA 2K, so it shouldn’t be looked into too deeply. While NBA 2K has been the most successful NBA video game in recent history, it is just that: a video game.
The Cavaliers, who are the top dog in the East at 22-6, have been red-hot as of late winning nine of their last ten. This team has been clicking on all cylinders despite the injuries to J.R. Smith and Chris Andersen.
This will be the test; the test all Cavalier fans have been waiting for. Tell us your prediction in the comment below!
