Cleveland Cavaliers Introduce New Court Design
The Cleveland Cavaliers are reigning NBA Champions, and with that comes a new court design for a new season as they try to defend their title.
The Cleveland Cavaliers introduced a new court design for the 2016-17 season.
There weren’t many changes to the court, however the few changes are noticeable. Gone is the city skyline, and gone is the navy perimeter from last year’s court.
This year’s court features a sword at center court playing through the “C” logo. It’s similar to that of their alternate logo. In place of the navy is a black perimeter with the text in wine outlined by gold.
Whoa! Looks like @SliderTheMascot tried to sneak some fuchsia into our color way!

The Cavs new court design proves that they aren’t worried about being superstitious coming off of their first championship in NBA history. It is a bold new look that is cool with the center court line, but the skyline will be missed.
