Chris Paul kicked in face on drive

Yeah, we think it’s flagrant, too.

The NBA calls it a Flagrant Foul 2 when you do something excessive — and kicking an opponent in the face while he drives to the basket is pretty darn “excessive.”

The Memphis Grizzlies’ Tony Allen kicked the Los Angeles Clippers’ Chris Paul smack in the kisser on Monday night. That earned Allen an ejection, which he complained about. C’mon, man, if you going to do something like this, at least own it:

Paul seemed fine after being victimized by Allen’s showgirl routine. By the third quarter, he had posted double figures in points and assists.

Allen, meanwhile, likely will be hearing from the league really soon about posting a fine.
