Chris Bosh on DeAndre Jordan: 'You always got to be sure of your decision'

Chris Bosh knows something about being a top-flight free agent.

The Heat big man left the Raptors during the summer of 2010 as one of the men to form a "Big 3" in Miami, the one that included himself, Dwyane Wade and LeBron James. Then, during 2014, he signed a massive deal to re-up with the Heat.

Bosh almost signed with the Rockets that summer. He was involved in intensive talks with them until he signed that max contract with Miami. Now, he's commenting on DeAndre Jordan's offseason indecision.

Here's what Bosh had to say about Jordan agreeing to sign with the Mavericks back in July only to renege on his choice and head back to the Clippers, via the Dallas Morning News:

“I mean, it’s unfortunate,” Bosh said. “That’s why you always got to be sure of your decision, man. I know for Dallas and the Dallas fans it’s kind of like a blow because you know they are probably going to build a team that looks a certain way and it doesn’t happen. So it’s a difficult part for both of them.

“I’m sure they’ll be probably looking into the grace period thing now. It’s an area of interest now, so we’ll see how it goes.”

Jordan is one of the most important Clippers, but he definitely showed some immaturity in the way he handled his free agency. Hopefully, he's moved on. I can guarantee you Mavs fans haven't, and that we'll hear about it when the Clippers and Mavericks meet for the first time Nov. 10.
