Chicago Bulls at Brooklyn Nets: Game Watch Info
First off, Happy Halloween Day, Chicago Bulls fans! Can you believe it?
More from Pippen Ain't Easy
The Chicago Bulls are off to a 2-0 start and currently one of the hottest teams in the league. No one expected Dwyane Wade, Rajon Rondo and Jimmy Butler to mold as seamlessly as they have to start the season. Yes, I know it’s still very early, but they’ve done just what they’ve set out to do; push the ball, get out and run, space the floor, shoot 3s, defend, and play with more passion.
Going into today’s game, the Bulls lead the NBA with 111.5 points per contest. Additionally the Bulls are leading the league in assists per game (29.5), thanks to Rondo’s efficient point guard play. What’s even more surprising is the Bulls are currently number two in the league in three-point percentage (43.5%). Who saw that coming?

The Nets come into play today with a 1-2 record, who are led by Robin Lopez’s twin brother Brook Lopez. Newly signed point guard Jeremy Lin leads the team in scoring and assists (17.0 pts and 7.3 ast per game). Also, keep an eye on Bojan Bogdanovic. Against the Milwaukee Bucks this past weekend, the Croatian G/F scored 26 points on 9-of-15 shooting in a losing effort for the Nets.
For the Bulls, the story continues to be the gameplay of the “Three Alpha’s,” and how well they can make this offense go. Also, watch for the new “bench” mob of Michael Carter-Williams – Doug McDermott – Nikola Mirotic – Cristiano Felicio. The Bulls depth is definitely a major plus going into game three of the season.
