Charles Barkley wears special 'Mamba Day' Barkleys to honor Kobe
April 13th is officially Mamba Day. To celebrate Kobe Bryant's final game, Nike athletes made a tribute video honoring the Black Mamba and will wear black-and-gold shoes.
Current Nike athletes aren't the only ones partaking in Mamba Day, though. Former athletes are getting in on the celebration as well.
TNT NBA analyst and former player Charles Barkley donned a special pair of "Mamba Day" Nike Air Max CB 34s (aka Barkleys) during Tuesday's Inside The NBA show, offering some retirement advice to Bryant and shouting out Nike co-founder and chairman Phil Knight for their friendship:
Those are pretty sweet, if we do say so ourselves. It's unclear if those Barkleys will ever hit shelves, but we hope they do.
