Wilson Chandler continues to be one of, if not the most productive player for the Nuggets. Devin Booker may want to learn to never take a shot at a versatile NBA veteran who can catch fire. That’s exactly what happened when Booker elbowed Chandler during one play and got assessed a technical foul. Chandler ended up finishing the game with 25 points on 47% shooting to go along with 3 steals and a 100% free throw shooting percentage.
Kenneth Faried also had a major impact nearly achieving a double-double grabbing 9 boards. Faried also had the highest differential today at 11 tied with Nikola Jokic.

The Nuggets were also able overcome the Suns best scorers combining for 65 points with Eric Bledsoe pouring in 30 and Booker putting in 35 points. This is still a concern defensively, but it also shows that Denver can score with the best of them. Even though this game should have been a blow-out, it is important to remember that the Nuggets were without some vital pieces of the team.
Gary Harris is still sidelined with a foot injury and Danilo Gallinari sat out with a thigh strain for the 3rd straight game. Denver was also without Barton due to left ankle rehab. One should not expect opposing back-courts to put up these numbers on Denver once Gary Harris returns to the lineup.
While blowing the 20 point lead is a massive concern and there are still many defensive issues, the Denver Nuggets have a lot of things to be happy about in today’s win.
