Chandler Parsons joins Blake Griffin, among others, in web series

Amidst the start of the NBA season, go90 has announced a new comedy venture: The 5th Quarter. Memphis Grizzlies’ forward Chandler Parsons will be among the many to make an appearance.

Go90.com, an online video streaming service, has announced a new series titled The 5th Quarter. This series will be a 12-part mockumentary that features several celebrities and athletes, including Memphis Grizzlies forward Chandler Parsons.

Here’s the trailer. New episodes will come out weekly starting Nov. 2. The 5th Quarter will give “an inside look at the greatest untold, and untrue stories in sports history.”

It is currently unclear what episode Chandler Parsons will be featured in, but he was present in the trailer. Along with Parsons, fellow NBA faces include Karl Anthony Towns, DeMarcus Cousins, Gary Harris, Mark Cuban and Ahmad Rashad.

Celebrity guest stars include: Angela Kinsey, J.B. Smoove, Chris Parnell, George Lopez and Kenny Mayne alongside several more.

A preview for the first episode was released (see below). In this episode, Clippers’ forward Blake Griffin plays Clif Cliff Adele, a breakout AAU star from the fictional Devil’s Nut and documents his rise to stardom among the AAU circuit and the turmoil that follows.
