Carter-Williams starting for Bucks vs Pelicans

Published Mar. 17, 2015 7:21 p.m. ET

NEW ORLEANS (AP) Milwaukee coach Jason Kidd says guard Michael Carter-Williams is starting against the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday night after sitting out the Bucks' previous game with a sore right ankle.

Kidd says guard Jerryd Bayless, who like Carter-Williams was listed as questionable, is also available to play against New Orleans.

Carter-Williams is averaging about 15 points per game this season and has been one of Milwaukee's leading scorers since being acquired in a trade from Philadelphia in February.

He returns to a short-handed Bucks squad which has lost two straight and seven of 10.
