After recently training near Chelsea Piers, Anthony and Porzingis continued to spend time together at a high school basketball tournament.

Anthony and Porzingis have been training together for over a year now. The results can be seen when watching Porzingis play, as he often pulls out moves that have long been a part of Anthony’s repertoire.

According to Chris Cirillo of SNY, Anthony and Porzingis recently attended the Mine Basketball Classic at Terminal 23 in New York City.

Anthony and Porzingis continue to share an unexpected friendship.

Anthony is one of the most decorated players in NBA history. His popularity remains more prominent than ever, as the incoming class of rookies voted him the second most popular player in the NBA.

Thus, one can only imagine how incredible a feeling it must have been for high school players to see Anthony attending their tournament.

As for Porzingis, this is another opportunity for him to immerse himself in the beauty of New York basketball. Terminal 23 isn’t exactly Rucker Park, but getting back to the basics can be of invaluable aid to young players.

One can only dream of what the environment would be like if Porzingis took his talents to the Rucker. One can only hope to become aware of that appearance ahead of time.

If nothing else, this was quality time spent between the franchise player and his heir apparent.

Anthony’s leadership continues to impress.
