Carmelo Anthony is starting his own 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles'

We learned a couple of months ago that Carmelo Anthony would have a cameo in the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, a sequel to the first hit starring Will Arnett and Megan Fox. But Melo isn't done getting his groove on with the turtles.

NBA Superstar Carmelo Anthony is teaming up with Nickelodeon on a new range of products inspired by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

"Turtles by Melo" will span lifestyle, home furnishings, publishing and video games, among other products. The range is expected to hit stores in Spring 2016, ahead of the Summer release of the Paramount Pictures movie "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2", in which Anthony stars.

"The Turtles were such a huge part of my childhood, so to now be partnering with Nickelodeon on Turtles by Melo is honestly something I never could have imagined," the athlete said when presenting the new concept in Las Vegas on June 9.
