Bucks announce re-signing of C Miles Plumlee

Updated Mar. 4, 2020 9:22 p.m. ET

MILWAUKEE (AP) The Milwaukee Bucks are making it official, re-signing restricted free-agent center Miles Plumlee.

General manager John Hammond announced the deal Tuesday. Plumlee's agent, Mark Bartelstein, said last month that his client agreed to a four-year deal worth $52 million.

The 6-foot-11 Plumlee averaged 5.1 points and 3.8 rebounds in 61 games in 2015-16, his fourth season in the league and first full year in Milwaukee.

Plumlee received more playing time in the second half, giving the team a spark off the bench. He started 14 games.

Hammond calls Plumlee an athletic big man who gives Milwaukee frontline depth.

The Bucks also announced Tuesday that they were returning to Madison for four days of training camp in late September.
