Brooklyn Nets training facility delayed, says Billy King
The Nets may have moved from New Jersey to Brooklyn three years ago, but that was only for games. Their practice facility still rests in East Rutherford, NJ, inconveniently forcing players to commute between the two locations routinely.
The Nets are building a new practice facility in Brooklyn—for $50 million, mind you—and the opening was supposed to come before the 2015-16 season, but Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News reported last week that may not be the case:
"One thing that won't change is the practice facility in East Rutherford, N.J., because the $50 million replacement under construction in Brooklyn won't be ready for the start of the season," Bondy wrote.
Wednesday while talking to the media, general manager Billy King confirmed that report:
