As the Phoenix Suns head into the offseason, General Manager Ryan McDonough will have to assess the areas of need for his young team. The Suns are expected to be a major player in both free agency and the draft after narrowly missing the postseason again.

Internal development will also be a key to Phoenix's success going forward, and there's optimism within the organization that there are core pieces in place. One of those players could be young center Alex Len.

Here's more from Craig Grialou of ArizonaSports.com:

"He's just going to keep continuing to get better and better," Suns center Brandan Wright said of Len. "Obviously, he had some health issues his first couple of years, but it's just part of being in the league, part of taking a pounding, but he's going to be a great player, and I'm looking forward to working with him in the future."

"I think just keep building on what I have right now," Len said. "Develop a post game and just keep getting stronger. Pay attention to the little things."
