Bradley Beal thinks Wizards would have made NBA Finals if John Wall was healthy

After losing to the Atlanta Hawks in the Eastern Conference Semifinals, it's easy for the Washington Wizards to look back and imagine a few different "what if?" scenarios.

At the very top of that list would be what would have happened if John Wall hadn't hurt his wrist.

Although Wall admirably played through his injury towards the end of the series, the Wizards very clearly weren't at full strength.

What does Wall's backcourt partner think about how different Washington's season could have ended with their star point guard healthy? Here's more from Jorge Castillo of the Washington Post:

"Three weeks after Washington’s gut-wrenching defeat, Wizards guard Bradley Beal took the what-if a step further during an appearance on ESPN2’s First Take Friday morning.

“My point is if John Wall hadn’t gotten hurt, the Washington Wizards would’ve been in the East finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers,” co-host Stephen A. Smith said. “If that had happened, what would’ve happened? Would LeBron be sitting here right now?”

“Yeah, he’ll be talking to y’all right now,” Beal said. “Wishful thinking.” "
