Bogut says playing for Australia in Rio 'very unlikely'

CLEVELAND (AP) Golden State center Andrew Bogut says it is ''very unlikely'' that his injured left knee will recover in time to allow him to play for Australia in this summer's Rio Olympics.

Bogut suffered an impaction injury that led to severe bone bruises around his left knee in Game 5 of the NBA Finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Game 6 is Thursday night.

Bogut has been told he will need a minimum of six to eight weeks to recover. He plans to rehab aggressively for the next month or so with hopes of speeding up the process, but acknowledged he will need a ''miracle'' to be ready in time.
