Bobcats C Biyombo ready to return against Magic

Published Mar. 6, 2012 6:20 p.m. ET

Bobcats coach Paul Silas says rookie center Bismack Biyombo will be back in Charlotte's starting lineup Tuesday night against the Orlando Magic.

Biyombo missed the last two games because of a strained left shoulder.

Biyombo had one of his better games of the season against the Magic on Jan. 17, scoring 11 points and grabbing 10 rebounds against three-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year Dwight Howard in a 96-86 loss to Orlando.

Silas says Biyombo is pain-free.

Silas likes the way Biyombo has improved offensively, saying ''you watch him and his shooting is unbelievable now - because he couldn't make a shot before.''

Over his last eight games, Biyombo is shooting 50 percent (16 of 32) from the field and averaging 5.3 points and 7.3 rebounds.
