Ayesha Curry is going to be a judge on 'Chopped Junior'

It's a match made in culinary heaven.

On Tuesday night, the childrens' version of the popular competitive cooking show "Chopped" will have a very special guest judge: Ayesha Curry.

Curry is well-known for her cooking prowess; she earned her very own show earlier this year, and she hasn't been shy about bringing NBA fans into her kitchen alongside her adorable children.

Given the way the Curry family has dealth with all of the publicity Riley Curry has received, we're pretty sure we can count on Ayesha to handle the ultra-competitive children on "Chopped Junior."

We do have one question, though: When exactly was this episode filmed? If it was after Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals, we're hoping none of the contestants tried to troll Ayesha over the loss. She hasn't been very receptive to some of the more vocal trash-talk from other teams' fans.

Either way, it should be a nice change of pace for Ayesha to be the one doing the judging. Last year, Ayesha and Steph were pitted against each other in a tongue-in-cheek cooking competition with Riley acting as judge. And as any parent will tell you, trying to please a toddler is one of the most difficult tasks a person can face.

But back to "Chopped Junior." Of course, the competitors don't know their ingredients until they open their mystery baskets -- that's how Chopped works. With that said, if we could have offered the following advice to the young chefs, it's this: In the dessert round, try to make gluten-free cookies. Apparently Ayesha love those.
