The Boston Celtics have max cap space and they badly want one superstar to fill a chunk of it. Will that be Cleveland Cavaliers power forward Kevin Love? Well, first he needs to agree to meet with them.
All signs point to Love re-signing with Cleveland, running it back over the next few years with LeBron James and Kyrie Irving and rolling through the Eastern Conference.
But in Boston, he can be the center of a growing playoff team, the star who touches the ball on every possession, gets to shoot whenever he wants while averaging those crazy numbers he did with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
It's an opportunity Cleveland can't offer. If Love values actually having fun and playing well over sitting on the bench in the fourth quarter but winning a championship, the Celtics are a perfect destination.
But, again, first he needs to accept a meeting.
