Vote now on your favorite JGR Darlington throwback paint scheme
(Editor's note: Vote now and all week long in this series which will feature the Darlington throwback paint schemes of all your favorite drivers).
Who do you like?
This is is your chance to vote now on which of the four Joe Gibbs Racing drivers will be sporting the best throwback paint scheme for this Sunday's Bojangles' Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway.
Is it Matt Kenseth in his No. 20 JGR Toyota that is a nod to the "Tide Ride" Ricky Rudd drove in the 1995 Daytona 500?
Or maybe you favor the No. 11 JGR Toyota that will be piloted by Denny Hamlin. His car is a replica of the No. 11 driven by FOX Sports analyst and NASCAR Hall of Famer Darrell Waltrip in the 1984 NASCAR Premier Series season, when Waltrip drove for another Hall of Famer in car owner Junior Johnson.
There also is the No. 18 Interstate Batteries-sponsored car to be driven by Kyle Busch that is a nearly exact replica of the same car Dale Jarrett drove to the first of his three Daytona 500 victories in 1993 while Jarrett, yet another Hall of Famer, drove the No. 18 car for JGR.
Finally, there is the No. 19 JGR Toyota of Carl Edwards. His paint scheme at Darlington is a 25th-anniversary tribute to a fellow NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver -- three-time Premier Series champion Tony Stewart. Edwards' scheme is a replica of the No. 20 Home Depot-sponsored car Stewart first drove for JGR in his rookie season in NASCAR's top series in 1999.
