Stewart-Haas reveals Danica's Sprint Showdown paint scheme

Stewart-Haas Racing took to Twitter on Wednesday to reveal Danica Patrick's paint scheme for the upcoming Sprint Showdown at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Patrick will pilot the No. 10 Mobil 1/Aspen Dental Chevrolet as she tries to race her way into the May 16 main event, the Sprint All-Star Race.

The Sprint Showdown will be run Friday, May 15 at Charlotte Motor Speedway and will feature two 20-lap segments. The top two finishing drivers will advance to the all-star race, with the winner of the Sprint Fan Vote also moving on to the main event.

Patrick's new paint scheme features two longtime SHR sponsors, Mobil 1 and Aspen Dental, and also comes at a time when the team is searching for a new primary sponsor for next season on the No. 10 Chevrolet.

Last week, longtime sponsor GoDaddy announced it would not return as Patrick's primary sponsor on the No. 10 Chevrolet after the 2015 season. This past weekend at Talladega Superspeedway, Patrick said she was confident in the team's ability to find a replacement for GoDaddy.

In her comments Friday afternoon, Patrick said it is possible for one of the team's existing sponsors to step up and fill the role vacated by GoDaddy.

"It was good that GoDaddy gave us, as a team, time to find someone else for that role; either someone new or one of my great partners that already exists and wants to step up," Patrick said. "It's as tolerable as a situation as you can imagine."
