Small spoiler cause for concern at Michigan International Speedway

Well Mother Nature threw us a few curves last weekend and forced the race at Pocono to be run on Monday. It still turned out to be a great race. It was exciting to see Kurt Busch get his first win of the season with a backup crew chief no less. His regular crew chief Tony Gibson had been benched for a week by NASCAR following a lug-nut infraction at Charlotte. So the No. 41 put engineer Johnny Klausmeier up on the box making the calls.

It will be interesting to watch with 22 races left in the 2016 season which manufacturer walks away with the title.

I'll be honest, I have a pretty big concern heading into this weekend's race at Michigan. I hope I am wrong, but I am just a bit skeptical. NASCAR has tweaked the rules for this race and the race coming up later in July at Kentucky. They are taking even more downforce away from these cars. I'm just not so sure that's a good thing.

So we'll have to see how it all plays out. This is what the drivers have been saying they have wanted. Like the old saying goes however "Sometimes you have to be careful of what you wish for."
