See Bojangles' Southern 500 starting lineup after qualifying rained out

The arrival of the remnants of Hurricane Hermine caused the cancellation of all Friday track activity at Darlington Raceway, including NASCAR Sprint Cup Series qualifying.

As a result, the starting grid for Sunday's Bojangles' Southern 500 has been set per the provisions in the NASCAR rule book.

Current year owner's points determine starting positions in the event that adverse conditions prevent qualifying, which puts current points leader Kevin Harvick on the pole for the race in his No. 4 Stewart-Haas Racing Chevrolet.

This will be the first time in his Sprint Cup career that Harvick will lead the field to the green flag at Darlington. The Stewart-Haas racing driver earned his first and only Southern 500 victory to date in 2014, when he went on to win his first and so far only Sprint Cup championship.

Brad Keselowski will start second, with defending race winner Carl Edwards going off third. Kurt Busch and Joey Logano round out the top five.
