Roger Curtis leaving position as MIS president

On Tuesday, International Speedway Corporation (ISC), announced that Roger Curtis is leaving his position as president of Michigan International Speedway.

Effectively immediately, Curtis is leaving MIS after 10 years as track president to pursue new opportunities.

A replacement has not been announced. Joie Chitwood, ISC Chief Operating Officer, will oversee MIS operations until a replacement is determined.

“We want to thank Roger Curtis for his many years of service with ISC, and the last 10 years, specifically, as the face of Michigan International Speedway,” stated Chitwood. “We wish him much future success.”
