Regan Smith loves the racing at Auto Club Speedway

Regan Smith appeared on Thursday night's edition of "NASCAR Race Hub" and touched on some of the reasons he loves Auto Club Speedway.

The old, worn down racing surface and multiple lanes are the main reasons for why Smith loves the track as a driver.

He also provided a few reasons why fans should love watching the action.

Four of the last seven race winners have started 14th or worse, the past 11 race winners are all Cup Series champions, and only one of the last seven winners has led the most laps.

Those interesting tidbits mean that it'll likely be an experienced driver who works their way through the field and makes a late-race pass for the win.
