NASCAR team exec treated for blood clot

The vice president of competition at Richard Childress Racing has been treated for a blood clot in his lung and released from the hospital.

The team says Saturday that Mike Dillon was hospitalized last week when the clot was discovered. He underwent tests and was released while he awaits results.

NASCAR driver Brian Vickers missed most of last season when blood clots were discovered in his lung and legs.
