"I know there’s a group of us staying over after the race, and we’re just going to hang around and have a good time, and that’s something we never really get to do.”

And that, it seems, is something everyone is looking forward to Wednesday when the Prelude once more takes center stage.

“If anybody ever walks out of there and doesn't have fun, they won't be invited back, because there's no reason not to (have fun),” Newman said. “I really enjoy that race track. I enjoy dirt racing and I look forward to that as well."
