Kobalt 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway Practice 2 results

Hendrick Motorsports' Jimmie Johnson was fastest in Saturday's morning practice session at Las Vegas Motor Speedway ahead of Sunday's Kobalt 400. The driver of the No. 48 Chevrolet ran a total of 33 laps, with his best coming at 28.141 seconds at 191.891 mph.

Ryan Newman, Kevin Harvick, Joey Logano and Dale Earnhardt Jr. rounded out the top five. Kyle Larson ran the most laps of the session, with 36. Harvick and Larson also led the best 10-lap average category.

One final practice session remains for the Sprint Cup Series cars (FOX Sports 1, 2:30 p.m. ET).
