The NASCAR world held their breath after Dale Earnhardt Jr. was caught up in one of the multiple wrecks in Sunday's crash-marred Daytona 500.
After exiting the infield care center, Earnhardt explained why advances to his headrest has given him extra confident to return to racing this season.
Monday night on "NASCAR Race Hub," reporter Alan Cavanna explained that while Earnhardt was disappointed about not being able to finish the race, he also felt slightly relieved to get that first wreck out of the way.
Stewart-Haas Racing driver Kevin Harvick and FOX NASCAR analyst Larry McReynolds also took time to react to Earnhardt's incident.
