Harvick will become a father in 2012

Kevin Harvick offered the most surprising news of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Media Tour Wednesday night.

During his opening comments at the stop at Richard Childress Racing, the driver announced that his wife, DeLana, is 14 weeks pregnant.

The Harvicks opted to shut down the Nationwide/Camping World Truck series team they owned and have won two Truck championships with at the conclusion of the 2011 season.

The pair were married in 2001.
