Everything you need to know about Sunday's Sprint Cup race at Pocono Raceway

Published Jun. 7, 2015 9:00 a.m. ET

For the first time this season, the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series is at the "Tricky Triangle" of Pocono Raceway for Sunday's Axalta "We Paint Winners" 400.

Drivers will have to overcome two things Sunday if they want to celebrate in Victory Lane at the end of the day.

First, they will have to deal with the massive bumps in the Tunnel Turn that has confounded drivers for much of the weekend. Second, the field will have to deal with Kevin Harvick, who has been lightning fast since the track opened Friday morning.

Harvick has led every on-track session with the exception of the third round of qualifying Friday afternoon. The defending Sprint Cup Series champion has nine top-two finishes in the first 13 races of the season, but is searching for his first Pocono win.

Crew chief Rodney Childers signed a multi-year contract extension with Stewart-Haas Racing and is celebrating a birthday Sunday. What better way to celebrate than with a victory after 400 miles?

While Harvick and Childers have brought the car to beat, the 42 other competitors are not going to let them walk away with the trophy without a fight.
