1320video (above) and BigKleib34 (below) captured footage of a 2014 Mustang GT that burst into flames at the Royal Purple Raceway in Baytown, Texas, last week.
The Mustang, owned by Luis Alfonso, was there as part of the annual TX2K event, which takes place at the drag strip each spring break. However, TX2K16 is one that Alfonso will want to forget, after a nitrous line reportedly burst, leading to a minor fire starting up under the hood.
A couple of track officials began to try and fight the fire, but it turned out to be in vain as the rest of the nitrous then erupted, engulfing the whole front end of the car in flames. Unfortunately for Alfonso, it took a long time for the fire to die down completely.
