A Porsche 993 Turbo burst into flames on the showroom floor of the Javits Center on Thursday.
The car was being moved in the closing days of the 2016 New York International Auto Show, which ends on Sunday, when the incident occurred. Fortunately, nobody seems to have been injured.
The New York Post reports that the “car caught fire as workers were setting up a show room for DUB Magazine,” and that it was caused by an electrical fire underneath the car’s hood.
