Spain's Pedrosa wins MotoGP Japan GP

Dani Pedrosa of Spain won the MotoGP Japan Grand Prix on Sunday to claim his third race of the season.

The Repsol Honda rider crossed the finish line with a time of 42 minutes, 47.481 seconds to finish 7.299 seconds ahead of compatriot and 2010 world champion Jorge Lorenzo.

Australian rider Casey Stoner finished third, 18.380 seconds behind Pedrosa. Stoner had captured the pole on Saturday.
