Mike Neff is on a tear this season

Mike Neff raced to his third Funny Car victory of the season, beating Ron Capps on Sunday in the final of the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals.

Neff had a 4.211-second run at 289.94 mph in his Ford Mustang.

Neff kept the points lead, while Capps jumped from ninth to sixth.

Del Worsham (Top Fuel), Vincent Nobile (Pro Stock) and Eddie Krawiec (Pro Stock Motorcycle) also won.

Worsham powered his dragster to his fourth win of the season and 29th overall, finishing at 3.905 and 298.14 to beat Spencer Massey. Worsham tops the season standings.

Nobile held off Larry Morgan, driving his Dodge Avenger to a 6.615 at 208.26 mph for his second victory of the season. In Pro Stock Motorcycle, Krawiec held off Matt Smith for his second victory of the season and ninth overall.
