Mercedes driver walks away from spectacular crash at the Nurburgring

This Mercedes driver was lucky to walk away from a hard crash during the Qualification Race for the VLN Endurance Championship at the Nurburgring in Germany.

The Nurburgring Nordschleife, nicknamed the “Green Hell,” is one of the most revered and infamous motor racing tracks in the world. With high speed straights winding through 12 miles of forests, the circuit has claimed many lives throughout the decades.

Fortunately this driver was able to walk out under his own power, despite slamming into a tire wall which tossed his car up into the air before landing back down on the ground on its roof.
