Jay Leno selling his Harley-Davidson Ford F-150 for charity
Jay Leno owns a lot of exotic vehicles, but one of the most unique is a pickup truck.
In 2000, Ford gave the TV funnyman a Harley-Davidson F-150 equipped with the 360 hp 5.4-liter supercharged V8 from the high performance F-150 Lighting.
The engine became standard on the Harley-Davidson F-150 a few years later, but Leno’s black SuperCab is the only Y2K model with one, and was the first of 7,500 Harley-Davidson F-150s delivered that year.
He’s owned the 4x2 flareside ever since, but is ready to part with it for charity. The truck will be auctioned at the Barrett-Jackson event in Scottsdale, Ariz., on January 29th, with all of the proceeds going to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
While Barrett-Jackson doesn’t provide pre-sale estimates for its lots, low mileage H-D F-150s typically sell for around $25,000. But don’t think you can get Jay’s that cheap.
Last January he drove his 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8 onto the block at another auction house in Scottsdale. It was stock, but the first of that model, too. It sold for $360,000 to benefit the USO, and pulled in another $205,625 in donations along with it.
