Japanese commentator loses it watching Takuma Sato win the Indianapolis 500
For most racing fans, there’s always a sense of nationalism to see a driver from your home country win.
Such was the case for this Japanese commentator from Japan’s GAORA SPORTS as he cheered Takuma Sato on to victory at Sunday’s Indianapolis 500.
Sato had taken the lead in his No. 26 Andretti Autosport Honda from Helio Castroneves with just two laps left to go. Sato held on in front of the three-time Indianapolis 500 winner to take the first win at the famed event for a Japanese racing driver.
