Here's what it's like inside a Mazda Miata pileup

The Mazda Miata is one of the most popular cars for amateur racing across the United States.

However, while the cars may be small and nimble, they can still make an impact when things go wrong.

Take, for example, the driver in the above video - Kenny Murillo - who gets hit hard a couple of times during an opening-lap pileup at Watkins Glen International.

With walls on both sides on the front straight, there wasn’t much of anywhere for any of the drivers to go once things began breaking out in front of them.
