Robby Gordon has won his second stage in three days of racing in the Dakar Rally.
The American driver edged Guerlain Chicherit in Friday’s Stage 13 of the event, which ran from Copiapo and La Serena, Argentina. Gordon has been on a tear of late in the rally, but is hampered by an early rollover that cost him hours on the course.
Friday, Gordon and Chicherit dominated the stage, according to the Dakar site. Gordon also won the shortened Stage 11.
Overall leader Stéphane Peterhansel finished sixth.
