F4 driver runs to avoid a fight in Germany
Oliver Soderstrom didn’t want any part of a fight in the final round of the German F4 championship at the Hockenheimring earlier this month.
Fact is, however, Robin Brezina seemingly never really wanted to pick one anyway.
Soderstrom and Brezina had collided while battling for position during the race. As the two drivers got out of their cars, Brezina begins sprinting over toward Soderstrom’s machine, causing Soderstrom to quickly hop out of his beached car and run away from his rival.
Soderstrom begins making hand gestures letting Brezina know he didn’t want any part of a punch-up. However, Brezina’s body language afterward seem to suggest that he wasn’t looking to pick a fight with Soderstrom in the first place, and was just legging it to get away from the hot racetrack.
Either way, these two deserve some kind of award for best sprint race of the year.
