Three-time Indianapolis 500 winner Dario Franchitti got back behind the wheel of a single-seater racing car last weekend as the FIA Formula E series arrived in Russia for the Moscow ePrix.
Franchitti, who has retired from motor racing after sustaining injuries in a horrific crash on Oct. 6, 2013 at the Grand Prix of Houston, now commentates to the Formula E series alongside Jack Nicholls. However, until last weekend, the 42-year-old Scot had yet to get a taste of the Spark-Renault SRT_01E, the car that each team uses in the 2014-2015 FIA Formula E championship.
Finally he got his chance, and it seems that he thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
