Chad Reed's motocross season is finished and so is his racing team.
Reed underwent season-ending shoulder surgery this week and followed by shutting down TwoTwo Motorsports, which he created in 2011 after failing to land a factory ride.
TwoTwo Motorsport's second rider, Josh Grant, is now without a ride, though Reed plans to pay him for the remainder of the season.

The 33-year-old Reed says he has no plans to retire, hoping to land a factory ride for the 2016.
One of 14 riders to win Supercross and motocross titles, Reed had a successful start at TwoTwo Motorsports, finishing second in the 2011 Supercross season. The Australian has struggled with injuries the past few seasons, though, and was 16th in points before shoulder surgery.
