Brazilian striker Camillo Sanvezzo scored twice in injury time Saturday night, giving the Vancouver Whitecaps a 3-3 draw against Sporting Kansas City.

Vancouver trailed 3-0 after Teal Bunbury scored his second goal in the 58th minute, and Kei Kamara added another in the 63rd for Kansas City (1-1-1).

Atibi Harris started the comeback 10 minutes later, and Sanvezzo, making his MLS debut in place of suspended striker Eric Hassli, scored twice in extra time as the expansion Whitecaps (1-1-1) salvaged their first tie in Major League Soccer.

Both teams were without their designated players. Vancouver's Hassli and Sporting KC's Omar Bravo both followed two-goal performances in season-opening victories with ejections last week.

Bunbury was booed lustily every time he touched the ball. His father, Alex, is in the Canadian Soccer Hall of Fame, but Teal recently decided to play for the United States instead.
