The Seattle Sounders FC have removed forward Nate Jaqua from the disabled list, meaning he is immediately eligible to play.
The Sounders made the move on Thursday, ahead of Saturday's game at Philadelphia where Jaqua could make his season debut.
Jaqua, 29, was put on the disabled list on March 24 and later had surgery to repair a tear in his lower abdomen. Coach Sigi Schmid says Jaqua isn't ready to start, but could come off the bench and provide the team with meaningful minutes.
Jaqua started 27 of his 28 games last year for Seattle and posted career highs with nine goals and seven assists.
