Real Salt Lake midfielder Jean Alexandre has been suspended for one game and fined $500 by the MLS Disciplinary Committee.
Alexandre was penalized Tuesday for a reckless tackle in the 49th minute of a 1-1 tie against D.C. United on Saturday. He will miss Wednesday's match against Chicago.
