Donovan eyes Everton return
Landon Donovan would welcome a return to Everton, but admits he must be wary of pushing himself too hard.
The United States international took in a successful loan stint with the Toffees last season, arriving in January following the end of the MLS campaign.
The Los Angeles Galaxy forward is being strongly linked with a similar deal this term, with a switch to somewhere in Europe expected to be on the cards.
Donovan admits he would favour a second spell at Goodison Park, having thoroughly enjoyed his time in England first time around.
The 28-year-old does, however, concede that he must listen to his body before making any decision.
Having starred at the World Cup and helped the Galaxy into the MLS play-offs, he accepts that it may be time for him to take a rest.
"I want to go back - how could I not after last time?" Donovan said on a possible return to Everton.
"But I have to be responsible to my body.
"It is 50-50 at the moment."
