Yanks donating $125K to disaster relief

The Yankees are donating $125,000 to disaster relief efforts.

The team said Tuesday it was contributing $100,000 to help the victims of Hurricane Irene. The money will be split between the Salvation Army and Red Cross.

Another $25,000 will go to those affected by the Texas wildfires, with the funds also going to the Salvation Army and Red Cross.
